Explore The Havens - Hex WW55
General Summary
Pagan sought to increase the gold in his pocket by clearing land to sell to his city of Warhaven. He gathered a party of worthy adventurers to join him in the task.
Traveling through the plains was no easy task as they were pitted against a herd of Aurochs, a band of Worgs, and a dust storm that forced them to take shelter with barely any notice. Surviving with hardly any damage taken, just a few scrapes from swirling sand, Pagan’s Party pressed on through the plains.
Nearing the end of their day, Matten heard the cries of someone in need and noticed a skirmish off in the distance. Pagan’s Party arrived to find three human bandits attempting to take down two Centaurs. Both sides implored the newcomers to join them in their defense. Pagan, knowing the Centaurs to be truthful, sided with them, as did the rest of Pagan’s Party.
Being no match for Terri’s longbow or Müll’s spells, the humans were deftly dealt with. The proud Centaurs refused the potion Pagan threw at them but were grateful to Müll for her healing. Kytessa, as one of the Centaurs introduced herself, gave Müll a necklace of her people - a wooden carved emblem of a Centaur wearing a wreath of flowers on her head, standing proud in the tall grass of the The Great Plains. She assured the party that anyone carrying that symbol would be granted safe passage through the plains by her tribe, who apparently consider the The Great Plains their territory. Müll kept the necklace but allowed each to make a charcoal rubbing of the emblem.
