General Summary
North of West Haven, representatives taking up the call of the Eternal Sovereignty encountered Stapps Farm, now owned by Mavron Mews, who made them an offer: Allow them to continue their mysterious harvest, and Councilor Alik would receive a generous fee for continued operation, and give all of them an upfront bonus. Agreeing to the bribe, the party headed to the nearby haunted mill.
Abandoned for years, mercenary captain Nicky refused to go near it, and necromancer Glosia, “staff” manager, saw some lights a month back that looked like magic. Scouting the area, the party entered through an upper window wherein Stewmaker found a corpse too old for consumption, but below they discovered three calling circles--one still active! Inside was a fallen angel, left by loosed outsiders who killed all the summoners. She offered to identify the demons in exchange for freedom, and through Alik’s shrewd diplomacy, they gave her their names and she promised to let them live and teleport beyond the borders of the Sovereignty. Deal struck, the party left the way they came and next decided how to deal with two inhumanly-patient demons on the ground floor: a frontal assault led by summoned hound archons. The archons distracted them enough for the shapeshifted Belron’s swarm of butterfly stingers to slay one, but the other teleported, swearing revenge. The mill cleared, the party named it “Mew's Millhouse” to mock its notoriously-private owner, and collected the magical trinkets of the deceased unknown mages as reward.
