Goblinhold Arena - Time For Some Fun
General Summary
The Goblinhold council gathered in Cauldron for their monthly meeting, but a few members started to get antsy waiting for others to arrive. To blow off some steam, Pagan, Terri, and Stewmaker made their way down to the local arena to participate in a few fights. Once there though it didn't take long to get wrapped up in the atmosphere, and soon they found themselves facing some strange monsters captured and donated by an unknown benefactor. Stewmaker begrudgingly followed Terri's rule of no magic that'd make the fights boring, which led to much more blood shed on both sides this time. Victorious with ease in their first two bouts, the group was cocky, letting themselves be swept up in the chanting of the crowd for more violence and bringing out the next two captured combatants. While again the trio made quick work of the creatures, the creatures had drawn no blood from the competitors, only shocking them with arcs of lightning, much to the disappointment of the crowd who began demanding one more fight!
This time taking a few moments to recuperate the party gave the crowd what they wanted, one last fight! A pair of captured Gug were unceremoniously dumped into the arena, their otherworldly cries bringing cheers from the bloodthirsty patrons, ready to see such strange creatures split open. Terri and Pagan rushed in ready to please the crowd, but more than Gug blood was shed before the battle was one. When the dust cleared, both Gug lay dead on the ground below, but among them so did Pagan. While Stewmaker and Terri relished in the crowds cheers for their glorious and gruesome victory, someone snuck off Pagan's body! Terri, grabbing their winnings on the way out, left to find their dead council member. It wasn't hard to follow the fresh corpse still dripping with blood, and eventually they found him dumped in front of a local shaman's residence. The shaman informed them she couldn't bring back the dead who wished to remain that way.
