Haven-City
A Haven-City is a type of settlement that has grown up around a portal from Faerûn. It is typically identified by the use of the word "haven" in its name.
Whether a settlement that has itself created a portal connected to Faerûn, or a group of travelers have created a portal of their own since the discovery of Pandora, is a matter of scholarly debate. Originally, the term only referred to West Haven, Warhaven, and Fjordhaven, cities all connected by the same set of portals in Baldur's Gate. All of those portals are one-way.
Strangely, the settlement of Rogueharbor makes no claims to the Haven-City moniker, though any such claims might be suspect considering its connection to Faerûn is through the Underdark, and that portal is two-ways.
