Just Deserts
General Summary
Nihilus made the decision to travel to Shedje to meet with a high ranking official. Making the decision to travel by ship, he headed to the docks to hire a crew. On the second day of his journey, a massive storm drove him aground by Stag's Redoubt. Nihilus headed ashore while Musashi encouraged the crew to get the ship ready to travel again the next day. Nihilus used his time ashore to find out as much as he could about Abkheset, both in Stag's Redoubt and, through teleportation, Trader's Cusp. After doing his research, Nihilus returned to his ship and killed his crew, in order to raise them as a skeleton crew. He then sailed to Shedje in record time because undead don't need to sleep or rest.
Once in Shedje, Nihilus made his way to the Golden Lash Inn, where he was taken to a private dining room and was eventually visited by the Vizier of Shedje, Nasir al-Qurashi. They had a lenghty conversation, where Nihilus first tried to get to know more about Abkheset, then tried to convince them to perform acts of war on other nations. Not being willing to fall into what they saw as an obvious trap, they suggested they might be willing to do this if Nihilus would renounce the Freedom Accords and initiate trade with them.
When it became clear that Nihilus would not get what he wanted and that they were aware of his true intentions, he murdered Nasir al-Qurashi. Or at least, he tried to, but it turned out he was speaking with a simulacrum. Changing to appear as Nasir, Nihilus and Musashi tried to gain access to the inner city, but after a tough fight with a pair of efreeti janissaries, Nihilus decided to return home, which Abkheset allowed without further harassment.
