Let's Clear Some Forest

General Summary

Meako, Prim, Covak, and Rhal decided to check out an area by Drake’s Harbour and make it safe for some cash. The area itself was mostly a peace forest. Though there was an exception. A two and half mile radius of the forest had an area where the trees were of a different color than normal. While they looked dead, they were very much alive. The trees were black and white and seemed to be made of ash. The leaves were black with white tips and a bright red stem. In the middle of this forest they found the remains of a graveyard with a crypt that was surrounded by six black pillars. The graveyard and crypt was infested with shadows which they quickly dealt with. At the end of a long tunnel they headed steadily down. They found what appeared to be a sentient skeleton that they had less care of what it had to say and killed it only after hearing a warning that they should leave and forget about the place. After that they tried investigating and were unable to open the sealed door the skeleton seemed to be guarding. After being unable to open it by any means and only noting there are magical floating runes across the door. With that they left the area with one of the specially colored trees which had a blood red center underneath the bark. Wanting to have it inspected thinking something wrong with the trees though there no sign the trees were different than normal other than their appearance.
