Lost in the Darkness

General Summary

By call of the of a servant to Selune a group of adventurers made their way to the town square of Fjordhaven to learn more about the angel's request regarding Savin. Learning what they could from him and his superior, an immensly high ranking angel in Selune's court, the party split to learn what they could. Most of the party heading straight out to see to find Savin's abandonded fleet while Nihilus went to contact his connections to the Shar cult operating in Selune's divine realm expecting they might have knowledge of Savin's whereabouts.
Upon meeting up again, after the bulk of the party had slain a grotesque creature guarding the entrance of a cultist base, the party ventured inside, finding an encampment of Shar worshippers. Nihilus chose to confront them with Elliot following for backup while the rest of the party stayed behind. Finding Savin laying there, Nihilus begun demanding he be released into his care, even revealing himself to the leader to gain compliance. Overplaying his hand resulted in Shar herself inhabiting the body of the acolyte they were speaking with. Her attention only resting on Nihilus breifly before Elliot attempted to sweep Savin out from under her. After a tense verbal bout Elliot offer a bounty of his mind to Shar, allowing her to drain him of his knowledge, permanantly hindering the capacity of one of the forces of good on Pandora in exchange for Savin, a trophy she had already resigned herself to losing.
Returning back to Pandora was not without its trials, after saying farewell to the people he'd known and agreeing to have his flesh seared with the names of the crew he'd lost Savin returned to pandora with Elliot, sailing through a gate and subsequently crashing his ship into a statue of Nihilus that had been erected in Cauldron before the city had fallen. Meeting up with the rest of the party there they found themselves surrounded by goblins angry at their ship crashing into and defacing the statue. Savin was able to get them to calm down, but Nihilus frustrated by their presence attempted to disintegrate one, though his aim was off as he was unsteadied by a rumbling of the ground as two massive undead crabs emerged to defend the statue. Battle quickly ensued, Savin and Elliot running away as the rest of the party killed everything around them, not discriminating between the massive crabs or the now fleeing goblins.
Not to be outdone by the goddess Selune, Gruumsh decided it was time for Pandora to have a hero of his own, sending down Grud like a bolt of divine fury back to the gates of West Haven to turn the continent red in his name.
