Lucky Coin

A "lucky" coin once owned by a decidedly unlucky gambler, this gold piece displays the face of the Sovereign Nihilus Eventide on both sides.   It was acquired by Braskan in 1375, who collected it from the corpse of its first owner after burning him alive as an example for not paying his debts to Mavron Mews. The coin was used as proof of the hit, but the crime boss refused to retain it, calling it "cursed," so it remained with Braskan. Its new owner died at the hands of Rhal, a slayer of the dead god, Myrkul. The loot was split between Milo and Rhal.

Later that year, Rhal was slain and replaced by a doppelganger, who in turn met his end by vengeful friends.

Meanwhile, Milo tied a coin to the hand of his "friend" and later all of Milo's trophies were taken by the angel that slew him.
