Monkey See Monkey Do
General Summary
Adonis wanted to find somebody to help him learn some new skills. Meako, Rufus and Khalid showed up to help him. Heading out into the streets, they headed to the docks and started asking around. Eventually, they learned of a ship crewed entirely by Undine, last seen headed south. They also met an old man whose mind wavered in and out of lucidity, who told them of The Cursed Rock. There they would find a witch known to build totems out of those she killed. The party then went to find a ship to take them where they needed to go. There they met 'Mad Eye' Horton who charged them what the party felt were outrageous prices to take them to Rogueharbor. After finally agreeing to a price, the party split up. Rufusand Meako went drinking while Adonis and Khalid went to the guildhall to seek further information on The Cursed Rock.
The next day, they set sail to Rogueharbor. They managed to do some dicing with sailors do pass the time, with mixed results. In Rogueharbor, they learned more about the ship they were after, then Adonis and Khalid took a room at the inn, while Meako and Rufus slept on the ship. The next morning, Khalid and Adonisdiscovered that they'd been robbed of some coin. Setting sail from there, they headed south until they met The Bone Heart. Signaling for parley, the party headed over to the other ship and spoke to Maarina, captain of The Bone Heart. She agreed to act as trainer to Adonis, on the condition that they kill her sister on The Cursed Rock. Agreeing, the party travelled to there with 'Mad Eye' Horton.
Upon arriving on the island, the party was met with a desolate island with several grisly totems set up along the shore and plenty of bones lying around. Heading into a cave, they met Maarina's sister, the witch. Adonis talked to her about the things he wanted to learn, but after letting slip that they had been sent there by Maarina and then asking the witch if she knew anyone else who could teach him, she put him to sleep and called to her flesh golem to attack. After defeating both, the party sailed to Rogueharbor to give proof to Maarina, who then agreed to meet Adonis in Xiomara. They then sailed back home.
