Storybook Ending: All Giants Great and Small
General Summary
Alik, Prim and Bombo travelled to The Grand Library to help them track down a stolen book. They learned from a librarian that the book was taken to the Isle of Corella. Using magic, they travelled there and after a while found the imp sitting on a rock. When they approached, the imp told them that they'd have to defeat another devil to get the book back. A barbed devil appeared behind them, but Bombo smashed it good. When he did, both devils disappeared and the book sat resting on the rock.
When they approached the book, it shot up into the air and began reciting a story about a boy named Jack, who had to take the family cow to market to sell. A blinding light flashed, and when it faded they found themselves standing outside a farmhouse, the lead of a milk cow in hand. The narrator spoke up again and the party decided to follow the story. They sold the cow for some magic beans and returned to Jack's mother. His mother was understandably upset, and sent Jack to bed without food, throwing the beans out the window.
The scene faded to black and when they could see again, the party was in Jack's attic bedroom, with a giant beanstalk having grown outside the window. Climbing to the clouds, they found a series of islands held together by the beanstalk. They fought two giants on their way to a giant tree. In the tree they fought a final giant, then found a golden harp which was playing music on its own. Fleeing back down the beanstalk, they reached the ground. Then Bombo, following the narrator's instructions, cut down the beanstalk. The story complete, they found themselves back in the real world. The book now just a book, they returned it to The Grand Library and collected their reward, then returned back to Fjordhaven.
