The Arbour Kingdom Council - Flamerule 1374

General Summary

The week of council meetings for Arbour Kingdom started out hot! The weather creeped higher and higher, requiring special protection from the sun, and causing most citizens to remain indoors. Raffyr welcomed everyone back to the Flower Time Circle of Happiness at the Keep of Happiness. Anthony, currently bogged down the kingdom's finances, was running late. Arc attempted to reup the argument about teaching kids magic from last month’s meeting, causing Egon to gain a slight twitch in his eye and hide behind his mask. Raffyr requested a report from each of his council before moving on to official business. Upkeep The little unrest that was present was easily quelled by the Warden of Arbour Kingdom. Citizens were amply provided for and some gold was added to the treasury. Edict The heat was not letting up and so to cool things off, Tiff started a snowball fight. Unfortunately, it was of the arcane variety so only the spellcasters could participate. But Raffyr pretended. The kingdom’s borders were expanded again and several terrain improvements were made. Notably, a road halfway to Honshu was completed. A new settlement was formed and any threat from the current residents was discussed. It was confirmed that the new land housed a group of bandits intent on stealing only from The Sovereignty, dissolving fears. Anthony piped up with a new idea, but as it didn’t fit into the current agenda, it was tabled for another time. Income Seeing the treasury dip a little too far for their liking, both Raffyr and Anthony contributed personal funds. Between that and the regular income from the kingdom, the treasury was brought back to a comfortable sum. Event The Arbour Kingdom council enjoyed peace, content with the kingdom they’ve built.
