The Emerald Spire: The Magma Vault 06/23/2022
General Summary
Kazumar, Adonis and Nightfall travelled to visit The Emerald Spire. Having paid their fees, they entered in and were immediately hit with the great heat. Using magic to overcome the effects of the heat, they pushed forward. They came across a scene of slaughter, where they faced off against a multi-limbed monstrosity of claws and blades. Kazumar created a pit to trap it, but it was still a credible threat. After this they came to an encampment, where they found a pile of gear trapped with a stone of alarm.
Further in, they were attacked by creature made of poisonous smoke. Dealing with those, they moved off into a really narrow corridor where they had to fight off illness. As they were peering through a crack at a pile of magma and blades, the wall broke in and they fought a gray render. After defeating it they fought the shard slag, then moved on to find themselves standing over a lake of magma. As they worked to cross it, they were attacked by more magma creatures. Defeating them, they were attacked by a magma dragon. They won that fight, then had to fight more magma creatures.
After that fight, they came to a crystal wall with boiling water behind it. Moving the wall, they had boiling water wash over them. When the water washed away, they were able to gain access to the dragon's horde. After filling their pockets, they used the portal to return to the camp. They reported to Abernard, then returned to where they came from.
