The Gods Have Abandonded us! - Hobgoblin Nation
General Summary
Khalid, wanting to help the Hobgoblin Nation figure out what has happened to their centers of worship, he set out, as his alter ego Pax, to help. Though on his way there, he decided to take a detour and complete some tasks in Traders Cusp he needed to do in order to sever his ties to that kingdom. He decided the best way to do that was to burn all the buildings he owned down in the city.
As pax he purchased from local vendors a rather large volume of oil. His shrine he managed to burn down without being seen by the myriad of ape guards sent to guard the shrine. He set fire to it with no regard for containing the fire. He also left the body of Rayland, one of the persons he used as an alias, to burn in the shrine.
He then proceeded to the bank he owned, instructed his employees to bring home copies of all records, and sent them home. He then looted all the holdings of his bank's customers, and set the building ablaze.
After leaving the bank though he was attacked by a Bounty Hunter FennrickTheQuiet. He managed to evade the invisible attacker and moved on to his shop, where Fennrick managed to track him down. After nearly being killed by the invisible assasin, Khalid and his companion managed to find the attacker and slayed him. He then proceeded to burn his shop down with the oil he bought from local vendors.
After nearly dying, Khalid decdided that an adventure to the Hobgoblins wasnt really in the cards, so he fled Traders Cusp with his bounty and off into the sunset.
