The Stonebone Family Games

General Summary

Our party agreeing to meet in Fjordhaven began to gather, Terri coming from Goblinhold met some resistance in the form of centaur scouts whom she cooperated with and took longer to arrive. Than she was beset upon by a stone giant and his goblin cronies, after the giant fell she made quick work of the goblins. Soon thereafter she met up with Enam and the two saw an old turtle lady ahead of them, oddly enough they decided to dimension door passed her. Once everyone arrived at Bombo's academy they set out, the location being so near they encountered no troubles on the road. Bombo first saw his cousin Bombo the 53rd, whom after a quick introduction went off with Gilbert to try out some new potions. Than Bombo introduced the group to his father Bombo the 40th and he was excited to meet his son and daughter in law, but he was dissappointed when Bombo refused to go back to Faerun with him. Continuing to introduce his friends to his family Bombo found his uncle Oinen who had inspired Bombo to set out, they spoke for a time of how he was doing. Enam was brought to the stage by Bombo the 60th to learn the traditional music of the Stonebones and was shown how to use a bagpipe, the party went with Bombo's mother for some bear wrestling. First up was Javida who faced the smallest of the bears and owlbear, after a short back and forth she was able to pin it securing her win. Next up was Terri who faced the bear cub, she made short work of pinning him to the ground. Bombo was next and he was facing a much larger bear commander and through a long, hard, and wet battle Bombo was pinned to the ground. Terri decided to try her luck, Commander being made smaller and her bigger this fight was a surprise to those watching as Terri won. and going undefeated for the 8th consecutive Stonebone family games was Kodiak the giant humanoid bear, having pinned Bombo fast. After being covered in mud and sweat the party continued into camp, Enam was not willing to let his king go in his current state and used prestidigitation which cause the dwarves to laugh at and mock Bombo. Next up Enam went on stage to perform the traditional Stonebone song though it was rough at first he made it better to finish it up. Javida, Enam and Bombos sister Bombina entered the beauty contest. After their rounds it was clear that Enam had won the competition and was crowned the most beautiful dwarf in the stonebone family. Next up a big crowd favourite everyone joined in for the drinking contest, after several rounds it came down to Terri and Bombo, and Bombo had won the day. After sobering up a bit they left to take part in the caber toss and hammer throw, but this was interrupted by a goblin attack as a horde descended from the mounted and a goblin king challenged Bombo, he accepted and proceeded to splatter the goblin kings head on his hammer but was keft with the information that 3 more goblin kings would avenge him. With the party winding down Bombo went to Fjordhaven with his uncle who helped Bombo to reforge the helm of the Stonebone clan that Bombo had worn since his arrival.
