Trade Route Edict Xiomara to Silver City
General Summary
Yohannes Morrah gathered a group of adventurers together, hoping to make some money by helping establish a trade route between Xiomara and Silver City. Joined by his friends Mako and Virion they met a new friend, Malen. After recieving some instructions for the task at hand and buying some supplies, they set off for their long and slow journey with a small caravan of wagons.
Building rafts to cross the rivers in the wild, they happened upon a recently hatched, injured wyrmling, Ekaitza. Assuring her that she seemed born to swim and they wouldn't let her drown, they helped her discover her natural talent and got her off the rock surrounded by currents. Yohannes Morrah taking the time to bandage her injured wing. The party decided to bring her along to Draconia in hopes of being offerred a reward for returning one of their young.
Traveling in the recently cleared plains, the party came across a strange set of tracks shifting from large cat, to humanoid, the rodent. Finding a half-orc watching them, they became wary. When they began a conversation and mentioned a dragon being with them, the strangers demeanor shifted dramatically before he turned into a tiger, attacking Virion as the party tried to surround him. As Virion fell unconscious, Mako frightened the tiger causing him to flee even while being wounded by the party. Healing up and prepared for its return, they caught the tiger sneaking through the tall grasses after the dragon, cutting it down before it could harm her. Virion carved a message in the corpse before they brought it with them to give to the dragons.
Stumbling upon a lost kobold on their final leg to Silver City they begrudgingly allowed him passage with him though still wary that he was trying to trick them. They found they had a personal guide to the city they were heading to as he made sure they followed proper protocol and were given the praise (and reward) they deserved for saving one of the missing dragon young. Mako made a point of telling the story of their heroics in the local theater.
On their return trip the party was attacked by a bloodbrush, but made quick work of it, Malen setting it on fire. While they cut it down Virion and Yohannes Morrah took damage from its thorns and nearly set on fire themselves.
As they neared Drake's Harbour a dog got their attention. Speaking with it Mako learned its master had fallen into a well. The party debated amongst themselves whether it was the gods intent for him to die and they should leave him there while Virion took it upon himself to help the man out of the well then an apologetic Mako healed his injuries before they completed their journy.
