Winter Solstice

General Summary

Alik Shrekar gathered a party together and ventured out into the farmlands of The Sovereignty for some holiday celebrations. Arriving at a little farming village, the group of adventurers decided to partake of the local food and games. In the pie-eating tent, they found Solus, throwing himself face-first into a blueberry pie. A round of competition proved Bombo to be the winner. He was awarded a dozen pies. Next, in the gnome-throwing tent, they each tried their hand at tossing the petite farmhands. Javida, finding herself the unfortunate participant tasked with throwing the naked gnome came in second place behind Alik Shrekar, who won with magic. He was awarded a pie. In the beverage tent, a drinking contest ensued. Solus, was the first to black out, and was never heard from again. Surprisingly, scrawny Alik Shrekar gave the dwarven royal couple a run for their gold, but eventually was outdone by the king. Bombo was awarded a pie. Finally, at the spellcasting tent, the casters were able to shine! Except for Farouk who cast a spell that did absolutely nothing. Alik Shrekar took home another pie. Stewmaker, who was frustratingly hungry at this point, helped to spot a strange creature sneaking off with the village gifts. Hunting the creature down, the party discovered that his name was Grumbles and he was out to destroy the holiday! They succeeded in ruining his plans and saving the season! Stewmaker vowed to return to make the creature his next meal.
