The Gyre

A vast maelstrom of many different elements, continually mixing. it is inhospitable and unsafe to enter, towering hundreds of miles high and hundreds of miles wide, and entrancing sight visible many countries away. the area around it, known as Pengyre, is sent aswirling by the motion of the gyre.
perhaps the most mysterious, powerful, researched, and revered place in the world, it is the holiest site of Gyrism, serving as place of creation and apocalypse, afterlife, and god all in one.
