The Silversmith

A long-lived vampiric former inhabitant of the Mattiha river valley. Now wandering the world as an adventurer, attempting to either find a new ethical source of blood or expunge the leech-infusion.
The apiarist is another long-lived Mattihan who uses blood-bees to ethically sustain himself and a small family/community- until the hive died.

• is he actually an "adopted" Mirrored? has/had a twin? uses "we" pronouns?
• what were the exact circumstances of the creation of the mirror of Fororrim?

Special abilities

magical talents:

• able to create powerful magical items out of silver; they typically have some effect related to reflection, warding, and other properties of silver. the process of creating these items is time-consuming, but can be done to fulfill specific purposes if required.
• able to wield the ancient magic of exsanguination, slowly draining blood from an area and killing any who stay there too long.

physical attributes:

• inhuman reflexes and speed
• rapid and extreme healing from injuries
• negligible senescence.

talents:

• A very powerful fighter, iconically using a silver-bladed rapier (in the style of infantry of the late Mattihan Empire) that he magically duplicates to fight. this is his preferred approach, resorting to other magic only in extremis, as he feels it is an insult to his own abilities to resort to such tactics.
• an extremely talented smith, most used to working in silver. Produces extremely intricate and beautiful and delicate-looking pieces that are nonetheless extremely strong.

Apparel & Accessories

Has a long-lived pet Living Cloak called shroud, which is an intelligent and loyal (if somewhat disobedient) companion.
self-crafted magical items:

• A silver rapier that creates duplicates that hover in the patterns in the air and mimic the sword's movements
• an amulet that reflects attacks upon attackers (gifted to someone?)
• a wand that swaps two objects locations.
• A fragment of the mirror of Forrorim: the Silversmith's greatest creation, the Mirror reflects all that is seen as an opposite - good becomes evil, sickness health, dark light, cold warmth, male female, seemly ugly. a simple command can permanently (though reversibly) swap an object with its mirrored version. since dark becomes light, it can serve as a torch in dark places. what limits do the fragments have that the full mirror does not?
• some sort of stealth/invisibility/camouflage item.
• He once made a mirror that could magically reverse any properties of objects reflected in it. This was millennia ago now, and the mirror is broken and scattered. Perhaps Silversmith is watching over, or trying to unite the shards? How is it operated? Why should it be united/destroyed? What is its history?

• Born in the Mattiha river valley in 4201 Less Foreseen.
• spends time in Ranaskai, mastering silversmithing and getting a "distasteful" silver infusion.
• leaves Mattiha during the societal collapse caused by the drying of the valley.
• Lover/friend/twin (which?) falls ill, and Silversmith creates the mirror of Forrorim to save them - in the process, they are turned to evil, and he is forced to kill them. he smashes the mirror, and leaves, the fragments being collected and (eventually) scattered across the world.
