Two Springs
A mining settlement at the base of the mountains. The second settlement founded in Reykjar it trades heavily with the dwarves in the mountains and has several mines in the foothills. The town is usually a hive of activity during the day as tradespeople ply their wares and the tanning yards work full swing. Most evenings the taverns and inns are quite busy with travelling merchants and locals sharing a few beers and meals. The nights are usually quiet as most people who live here are up early on a morning.
Demographics
Mostly dwarf and gnome population, however there are also quite a few humans and orcs. The population is split between miners, hunters/trappers and tradesman.
Government
The town is ran by a mayor of sort selected by the town for their fairness and ability to get things done. They deal with the day to day running of the town, settles disputes and deals with correspondence between the town and the capital.
Defences
Walls and towers, garrison of Reykjan rangers and a home militia.
Industry & Trade
They trade iron and silver ore to the towns to the south. They also trade in furs and worked leathers. There are also several tradesmen in the city who trade between the dwarves in the mountains and the capital and outlying towns of the country.
Infrastructure
The town is surrounded by a sturdy wall and several guard towers. Has several well kept stable yards and liveries. It also has a warehouse district and tanners yard.

Guilds and Factions
The merchant and mining guilds are heavily represented here, the rangers guild protects the town from threats.
History
The town is roughly 200 years old and was the second settlement built by the dwarf gnome alliance in order to protect trade routes. It has fended off several ogre and giant attacks over the years, and despite almost being razed to the ground during a particularly vicious attack, the inhabitants rebuilt stronger than before and carried on.
Architecture
The town is a mixture of sturdily built stone and wooden houses, most well insulated against the cold winters. The stone buildings have a lot of dwarven influence in their design but more gnomish in their decor.
Geography
The town sits in the foothills of the western mountain range perched on a wide topped hill with a good view of the surrounding countryside. The town is fed by two cold mountain springs.
