Reykjar
A land of tall mountain peaks, cold dry deserts, rolling grasslands and temperate forests. A land of innovation, collaboration and fresh ideas. Reykjar is a landlocked country, bordered to the north by
Paiaku, the east by Gravdalia, the west by Jyla and to the south by Koskoga and Natani. Born from necessity and forged by determination and cooperation, Reykjar is a shining example of what can be accomplished by working together towards a common goal.
History
Founded by Renata Torswyth and Torndren Innestraad about 100 years ago. Reykjar started as a handful of settlements built along trade routes in an effort to protect them against Giant incursions. After pushing the giants back into their own territories more and more settlements sprang up and the Dwarves and Gnomes began to solidify the borders of their new country.
The northern half of Reykjar had been mostly uninhabited wilderness so there was no one to dispute them claiming this land as their own. The rest of the country was secured through a series of trade and political agreements with neighbouring countries and local nomadic tribes.
