Dr. Augusta Calliope

Dr. (a.k.a. The Madam)

She is otherwise known as the Madam (and her offspring clones that she can cognitively link to she is the head of Chimera Inc., often serving mostly as the and CEO.   Despite her passing herself as a well-meaning all-good leader who wants nothing but to propel humanity forward, her true intentions are malice in nature.   Her scientific goals, although starting her career as a scientist part of the HPP that created the genetic children of the institution, she has actually come to resent children.   She has come to view children mostly as organ donors (a job originally belonging to pigs, however, a certain infectious disease has rendered most of the organs unusable (host-vs-graft disease so when the Coup of Lazarus occurred and the Militia overtook the HPP and the Institution, children who did not obey (or developmentally screened to have a high propensity to undermine authority) were sent to be cared by Chimera Inc. under the tutelage of the Madam.   She has discovered that when harnessing the children's organs, the donor recipients are less likely to reject the organs. So, instead of propelling humanity forward and investing in future generations, the Madam seeks to prolong the life of those existing (especially the scientists who work for her and are thus deemed more worthy to live than others).   Despite her human appearance, she is actually a descendant of The Maker's Champion. She discovered that the Mother Tree of Chimera's sap has healing properties that can take away the disfigured properties of her curse. However, the sap's magic only works close to the Mother Tree. Thus, the Madam cannot live far away from it. So, using her magic and scientific knowledge, she has developed a cloning technology that only works for her (creating offspring clones using the fugal mould she makes).   She has a long-standing rivalry with the Moss King. However, she also holds a soft spot for him, mostly out of pity because she views their condition as a weakness, but he views it as a strength.
