The Neos Culmination

Summary

First Sergeant John Odinson was born in 951 CE and died in 977 CE. He was one of the first subjects of an experimental reproduction program conducted in secret, in addition to the Covenant's already established breeding program. John is a mix of Nordic human from his mother and artificially inseminated by Aesir DNA from his father's genetic code. This resulted in the creation of the finest soldier the Covenant had ever seen. John Odinson had no equal within the Covenant ranks until his untimely death during a solo mission. His genetic code was saved and reused to produce more top-secret enhanced warriors. However, the Covenant was continuously trying to improve their outcome with genetically enhanced inseminated seeds and surrogate mothers. The program was deemed unethical by some and was eventually canceled by government officials aboard the Orbital Osiris Colony. Nonetheless, the program persisted in remote breeding sites on Kepler III, hidden from the public eye.   The Breeding program on Kepler III has produced some of the Covenant's finest officers and soldiers, each with special abilities that outperform normal humans, either in mental capacity or in physical abilities. However, the male genetic code of the Aesir seed would always produce sterile females if the child was a girl. The males would be fertile regardless of the surrogate mother. The Covenant realized that with this combination of Human and Aesir DNA, they could only ever expect at most 50% of what a 100% Aesir was capable of. For almost a century, genetic enhancements and augmentations were conducted to try and produce offspring with the capability of 100% Aesir capacity, but without any success. Until, by chance, in 1931, a female special forces operative by the name of Freya was chosen by the Covenant to participate in the secret breeding program. Unbeknownst to her, she already carried Aesir DNA from her ancestors on Earth. Her relation to the Aesir was her great-great-grandmother, who was an Aesir and had an affair with a human man. The baby girl was left to the man to raise, as it would not be accepted in Asgard and would have been killed. The bloodline trickled down to her, and she holds the key to producing what the Covenant has been after for the past century.   Freya was artificially inseminated with seed number 117, John Odinson's genetic seed, in hopes of producing another secret soldier, as Freya herself was a proven warrior in the 1st Special Forces Group. After the birth of Frigg, Freya and Frigg stayed in the Covenant F.O.B. (Forward Operating Base) settlement on Kepler III, as per protocol, until the age of seven when Frigg would begin her Covenant training. However, at the age of 5 years old, Frigg telekinetically stopped an avalanche that would have taken out the small F.O.B. News traveled fast to command personnel in the Covenant, and Freya was ordered to immediately turn over Covenant property Frigg to The Department of Development and Research upon the arrival of Covenant officials at the F.O.B.   Freya, fearing what was going to happen to Frigg, took her and stole an escape pod, fleeing Kepler III in hopes of finding a safe place. Both Freya and Frigg's whereabouts are currently unknown to the Covenant, and they are being pursued.
