The Hazzat are one of the three original tribes of karn that make up the Great Karn Empire. They are native to the rivers east of Thyre Sea Lake.

Living in the rapid currents of the eastern Elasayn Basin have left the Hazzat karn with smooth carapaces compared to their counterparts who live in the calm waters of Thyre Sea Lake. Thus smoothness has entered into all aspects of Hazzat aesthetic, from art to architecture
