stained glass mountain
This intact stained glass window on the west wall of the Ruined Temple of Pelor is too high to reach easily but in addition to being whole it appears absolutely clean - not even dust or water spots appear on it.
It depicts a huge yellow-orange sun in the top center, as though at high noon. A single narrow beam comes down from the sun into a jewel nested in a mountain peak, then splits into jagged veins within the mountain that shade towards orange and then into deep red as they reach the mountain's base. The sun depicted in in the stained glass window is lit as though the sun is right behind it (regardless of the sun's actual position) during daylight.
The Identify spell revealed:
This stained glass image depicts the dwarven settlement of Sunhaven. It is traditionally placed in a sun temple in the direction of Sunhaven from that location and glows brighter than the available daylight would ordinarily allow. It is crafted from an alchemical glass that perfectly repels water and dust, created to be harder than standard glass. It is a part of the Consecration of the Temple of Pelor in Stonebridge.
