Session 02 Carrion Crown - Crimes Not Forgotten Report

General Summary

Woke up in the morning, had breakfast. Overheard Kendra speaking with a town deputy who informed her that there was an incident at the town memorial. Grobb got up and left immediately , and the rest of the party followed.
Having arrived at the monument, the party discovered the statue covered in blood, found out it was a statue to pay respect to the lives lost at Harrowstone. On the statue there was also a V printed in blood. Grobb found out that the blood was rat blood
Later the party went to the temple of pharasma and spoke with an acolyte. The party didnt find out much, except that the acolyte they spoke with was telling the truth about not knowing any info about nefarious issues with Vauran Grimburrow .
The party went to the hidden crypt, explored and had combat with 2 giant centipedes which they defeated soundly. In the sarcophagus they found the following.

• six flasks of holy water
• 10 magic arrows

• a scroll
• two scrolls

• thin darkwood case decorated with an image of a scarab with a single eye glaring from ts back—the same design that appears on the cover of the Manual of the Order of the Palatine Eye among the books in the professor’s collection. The darkwood case is worth 50 gp, and contains three objects of interest—

• a spirit board with a brass spirit planchette
• and four iron and glass vials containing tiny, churning clouds of vapor.
