Adelic's culture is highly influenced by its capital city, Winthrop, which values magic highly. Magical education is considered a priority by leaders and citizens, and therefore most can do at least small measure of it. Those who cannot are shunned, and find it difficult to hold down a job and impossible to obtain a position of power. The higher rungs of society are made up of the magical elite, and magic is incorporated into facets of every day life for citizens.
