Winthrop Palace

Winthrop Palace is the luxurious home of Isvoth, lord of Winthrop and it surrounding region. While it was built for exhuberance rather than security, the residence nevertheless contains a multitude of hidden, narrow passageways and secret, secured rooms for servants and palace guards alike to quickly and discreetly navigate throughout the building.

In addition to Isvoth himself, it is also home to Isvoth's wife, Divya Leopold, and Vashti, the palace's Archmage.

Architecture

Lush gardens surround the palace exterior, bordered by a tall, decorative wall. Near the entrance, visitors are greeted by two vibrant color gardens seperated by a walkway leading up the castle door one spills into the side of the building, while the other building side hosts a private moon garden. The back yard contains a lotus water garden with a large fountain at the center.

Notable rooms within the residence itself include:

  • The Great Chamber, the private quarters of Isvoth and Divya
  • The Chamber of the Archmage, where Vashti resides.
  • The Room of Good Fortune
