Fently Firebeard
A male dwarf raised by Halflings in Thingerly, Fently is an uncommonly gleeful example of his race. Possibly due to his relative size and strength, or some dwarven instinct, he has become a constable in Thinjerly. Fently was a foundling in the local wilderness decades ago. Nothing is known about his origins. His surname is a creation of his discoverers based on his hair color.
If the party spends time in Thinjerly, they are going to encounter Fently. The more unruly they are, the faster this will happen. He will warm up to them when he learns they are space travelers, and he might even buy them a beer. He will ask them to tell him stories about space adventures. If the party seems like an honorable lot, he will give them a side quest of asking about his potential origins next time they encounter a dwarf settlement.
