• Dark energy infusion: Thane can infuse Black Heart with dark energy, making it more powerful and able to cut through almost any material.

• Fire magic: Black Heart may be imbued with fire magic, allowing Thane to set his enemies ablaze or to create fiery explosions.

• Soul stealing: Thane's sword can steal the souls of those it strikes down, adding their strength and essence to Thane's own.

• Summoning demons: Thane is able to use Black Heart to summon demons or other dark entities to fight alongside him in battle.

• Dark shield: Black Heart has the ability to create a dark shield around Thane, protecting him from physical and magical attacks.

• Corrupting influence: Those who are wounded by Black Heart may become corrupted, eventually turning into blighted themselves or becoming mindless slaves to Thane's will.

• Enchantment: Thane can enchant Black Heart with additional magical abilities.

History

Forged by the hands of the Dracon during the Age of Sin Thane forced the greatest smith of their species to forged him a great weapon of power. Threatening the extinction of the entire race the smith did as asked. Once forged Thane brought it back to his hammer and anvil and made the finishing touches imbuing it with his essence. Making the sword very easy to manipulate magic to his will. After its creation it was used to crush many armies, dispel many rebellions and keep the people of Pelo in line. The sword can not be wielded by mortals as the power and corruptive nature is too much for anyone to handle. But during the last days of the Age of Sin and the final battle, the once mighty king of Pelotor disarmed the God of his weapon. Grabbing it and wielding its full power he thrust it into Thanes chest bringing a cataclysmic explosion killing all around. Thane survived but became severely weakened and was forced back to his fortress in Hadrils Depth. Still strapped to Thanes back it makes him the deadliest being on Pelo.
