The History of Pelo so far
Ancient tribes of each race used to be scattered about the lands of Pelo. Now they have grown into great kingdoms and civilizations. But something doesn't feel right. Why are there ancient tombs scattered about Votis? No tribe has been said to have built them in any ancient text. Why does it feel so much more sinister than the Dark Stronghold built by Thane himself?
Current Species & Cultures
- Blighted- The demons of Hadril (hell) also known as the blighted have taken a physical form in the realm of Pelo. Their kingdom lays in a huge crack in the ground located in the demagon region formed from the gods at the beginning of time. They have gone from a huge kingdom spanning almost the entire realm to now hiding in their crack, waiting for the chosen one to bring about their rule again
- Ashendre- This race of people come from the ashy lands of the north. They originated from the old days of the blight era, when humans went to reclaim the north from a great volcanic eruption and the spread of corruption from the emergence of the blighted.
- Dracon- Born from the sick and twisted experiments of a secret society of scientists and wizards years before the War on Gods. These begins were created as a mutant mix between dragons and humans to fight the gods that created life. This race was not brought on by the power of the gods, but an abomination made from the hands of men. They are normally located in mountains and caves all across the world.
- Dwe- The race of the Dwe or Dweller as the common folk call them is a failed human species created by Uminar. They were created in spite of the humans that Ezdos created. He was jealous of them and how they worshiped their god. But these creatures came to hate their creator as they were damned to the depths of mountains, living in the dark and moist caves underneath everything.
- Human- A race of humans who have come to power in the Age of Man. They are very physically fit and lean. They also have the ability to learn all magic faster than other but takes longer for them to master one.
- Ilriliad- This race is a human like race with pointy ears and very sharp eyes and sense of hearing. With skin golden and eyes black as night. They are very intellectual and very good at combat.
- Obsidril- This race is identical to Ilriliad but with a couple of differences. First their skin is as black as obsidian and teeth sharp as razors. There eyes also appear red and black almost like someone ran black streaks of paint through their eyes.
- Olands- The race of Oland is a bulky and muscular human with dark or light green skin. they aren't the smartest race on Pelo but they are very hardworking and very adapt at necromancy.
- Rohder- The Rohder were created by the God Rhozdis as his one and only creation on Pelo. He created them on the island of Roe where they stayed isolated from the other races for centuries. Even though they where isolated they have stayed ahead of the curve technology wise. There military is also very impressive almost on par with the Ashendre trainers.
Needs & Relations
- Some humans just want peace and unity between all races along with power, but others just strive for power and vengeance.
- Blighted wish to control everyone and everything brining never before seen darkness over Pelo, worse than the first time.
- Dracon wish to get back at the humans for what they did to them and make them suffer.
- Ashendre just want to be left alone in their ashy wasteland.
- Dwe want to rule the overworld enslaving and eating all the other races in the name of dark magic
- Ilriliad wants the war to end between them and their counterpart, Obsidril. Others want to destroy the Obsidril for what they have done.
- Obsidril wants to kill every last Ilriliad and use there remains in their ritual
- Olands have differing goals. Some want to become a great kingdom while others want to stick to their old trible ways
- Rohder just wants to trade and live their life in peace. Only being forced into war, never causing it.
