King Cerdic of Wessex has invited Countess Ellen to negotiate peace between Wessex and Salisbury.

Prince Cynric arrived and presented himself to the court of Salisbury and made clear that he was sent on behalf of his father to negotiate peace. The council deliberated, but determined that there were more pressing matters at the very moment but promised to meet with King Cerdic in early 497. Lady Jenna travels to Hantonne while Prince Cynric stays at the court of Sarum until the meeting occurs in 497.

Winter News

Lady Jenna has arrived in Hantonne and is being treated well by all accounts. Both Sir Leuan and Sir Gerin are with her and keeping her safe. King Cerdic has provided ample courtesy and hospitality, even inviting them to the Christmas Feast.
