Sir Llygad and Baron Duach lead a siege against Sir Cadoc company of men at Devises.

Winter News

Baron Duach and Sir Llygad besiege the castle. Sir Llygad, prompted by the player-knights’ suggestion tries to sneak into the castle but is captured, along with two other knights. Baron Duach sends word to the Countess that he told the young knight not to attempt it, knowing Sir Cadoc as a skilled warrior with a history of defending castles, but the knight wanted to attempt it anyway.

Further, there doesn’t seem to be any evidence that Sir Cadoc is running low on water. They did capture a scout who seemed to be riding northward from Devises to Marlborough who claims he was being sent to alert Baron Dryw that the Countess has refused his claims to Devises. The prisoner claims that three more riders made their way north and Sir Cadoc feels betrayed after releasing Sir Bryn in good faith.
