Siege of Devises
With Sir Cadoc, a knight of Baron Dryw, taking the castle of Devises, Countess Ellen has demanded it be retaken.
Further, there doesn’t seem to be any evidence that Sir Cadoc is running low on water. They did capture a scout who seemed to be riding northward from Devises to Marlborough who claims he was being sent to alert Baron Dryw that the Countess has refused his claims to Devises. The prisoner claims that three more riders made their way north and Sir Cadoc feels betrayed after releasing Sir Bryn in good faith.
