Sir Elad the Marshal of Salisbury

Sir Elad (Glory 6,189): The Marshal of the county, Elad is the Castellan of Vagon as well. Sir Elad, the castellan of Vagon Castle and marshal to the Sir Roderick the Earl of Salisbury.   He is in charge of training the best of the squires to be knights and directing their activities.   Marshall of Salisbury, Castellan of Vagon, Steward of Warminster Description: Born in Year 429   Sir Elad is the Marshal of Salisbury, putting him in charge of all its armed forces. He is as well the Castellan of Vagon and Steward of Warminster.   One of the oldest knights in the county, he has trained many young squires, including Earl Roderick and Sir Rholyn, to name only but a few.   Sir Elad is a gruff old knight, known for the fire in his soul and the fearsome wrath he displays whenever displeased. Although age has begun to weaken this fine knight’s body, his mind remains keen as ever. He spends a good amount of his time at Vagon, training the squires of Salisbury and the Earl’s troops.   He is an excellent leader of men, even if he may no longer always be able to serve as active a role as he did before.   In recent years, Sir Elad has taken upon himself to instruct Sir Rholyn of Salisbury in the art of battle and war, knowing full well the young knight will one day take his place.
Sir Elad the Elder was a knight from Salisbury. He was Marshall of the county, in charge of all its armed forces, as well as the Castellan of Vagon. He died of old age over the winter of 494.
