Athelstan (Ah-THEL-stan)

The remains and remaking of the original city. The giant royal keep, Barnacton Castle, takes up the eastern side of the top tier, the stained glass windows across the Castle's peaks reflect pictures into the surrounding courtyards in the early morning. On the opposite side of Athelstan, reflecting the castle, is the Violet Diadem's headquarters. Its own stained glass images reflect across the center of town in the last hours of the evening as the sun sets. Besides the center three, there is a scattering of other homes, keeps, and buildings, and a few elite store fronts. 
Athelstan is closed to the public, anyone is only able to enter by invitation.

Defences

They are thoroughly searched and are given a place to hold their things. Absolutely no weapons are permitted. Magical bags are not allowed, unless they are fully searched first. They are then escorted through the city.
