Clestone (KLES-tone)

The Capital city of the Kingdom of Linorion. From the top of the hill, it seems as though the city bleeds down for miles.

Government

As the capital city of Linorion, the highest tier, Athelstan, holds the residence for the Royal Family and the Violet Diadem advisors. The laws, decrees, and decisions are all made here in Clestone.

Defences

Each tier of the city is surrounded by a tall wall, with the outermost wall being the most recent, showing the best durability. Additionally, Athelstan is protected by an anti-magic sphere, preventing anyone from being able to fly/teleport into it's walls.

The Tiers of Clestone Athelstan (Uh-THEL-stan)
The remains and remaking of the original city. The Giant Royal Keep, Barnacton Castle takes up the eastern side of the top tier, the stained glass windows across the Castle's peaks reflect pictures into the surrounding courtyards in the early morning. On the opposite side of Athelstan, reflecting the castle, is the Violet Diadem's headquarters. Its own stained glass images reflect across the center of town in the last hours of the evening as the sun sets. Besides the center three, there is a scattering of other homes, keeps, and buildings. A few elite store fronts. However, besides the lucky few, Athelstan is closed to the public, only able to enter by invitation. When the public is permitted to enter. They are thoroughly searched and are given a place to hold their things. Absolutely no weapons are permitted. Magical bags are not allowed, unless they are fully searched first. They are then escorted through the city.

Aulair (AH-lair)
The overflow of the rich and powerful. Aulair is well kept and teaming with snotty money makers, along with a large amount of nice shops and Inns, primarily the famous Crossed Wands.

Guilds and Factions

As the Violet Diadem's center, Clestone holds three of their impactful buildings- The Violet Diadem Chancery, the Main office/ meeting quarters of the Violet Diadem, located in Athelstan; The Violet Diadem Repository; and the Violet Diadem Institute- the school ran by the organization.
