Plague / Epidemic
Twenty seven years ago, (4103 M.E), a wanderer was brought into Sazan, found almost dead in the desert. As the druid's tried to nurse them back to health, the druids around them began to grow sick and lose their connection to harness their magic. Slowly, it began to spread to those who interacted with them. Any magic user that interacted with this individual had a chance of catching the plague, which sucks away their life force, feeding off of their magic to do so. This means that is has no chance of survival on a individual without magic, but is deadly to those who do. By the time the druids discovered this, the plague had already begun to take hold in the city. Being worshipers of life and the natural order, they quickly began to look for a cure. Three days later, the Sandwalker himself came across the cure in a small letherbound travel journal that was tucked away as one of the many hundred books on the first level of the The Labyrinth The roots of a flower found in the mountians of Alviathon held the seceret to counteracting the danger of the plague. It only took one more day for the Oasis of the Sands to retrieve enough of the flora and distribute the cure, ending the hold of the Plauge on the city within a week. Yet, in those 4 days, almost a quarter of the magic users in the city had passed away.

As the druid's tried to nurse them back to health, the druids around them began to grow sick and lose their connection to harness their magic. Slowly, it began to spread to those who interacted with them. It was discovered that this individual had made a deal with an entity in exchange for more magic. However, they broke their deal and in exchange, the entity cursed them with a deadly sickness that fed off their magic to survive . Hungry for power, they wanted to heal the sickness. They tried to perform a ritual to force the sickness out of them and on to another individual, which failed and instead made it contagious. They then made their way to the ever shifting sands to try to use the gems from The Earth's Gift, to amplify their strength against the magic. However they passed out on their way and was found by the oasis of the sands.
