McDorgle's/McDorger's (Unclear)
Legends tell of an establishment that came to be within the confines of the first Free City. It was quick, easy to afford, and impossibly delicious. It innovated the world of sandwiches and snack food, and created the first instance of "frying food" by breading their ingredients and sticking them in heated oil. Unfortunately, there is great debate over the name of the original proprietor. Two major camps dispute that the surname of this person was either McDorgle or McDorger, but records cannot verify which is accurate.
Across the Free Cities now exists a playful rivalry over this historical question. Some cities now have locations named "McDorgle's" and others firmly stand behind their establishments of "McDorger's." To the objective eye, both locations seem to offer almost identical food, but rename their entrees and exist in constant competition with one another. There are strangely also many pop-up locations in Hi'Ba of a food chain called "Dorg Jr's." These seem almost certainly an attempt to cash in on the craze rather than another legitimate claim to the original restaurant. One historical note firmly claims that any existence of "McDongle's," "McDonger's," or "McDong King" is to be treated as absolutely false and hold no stake over the original debate.
