Quake War

A devestating war that was fought between The Final Kingdom and the island nation of Ren Navy-Republic when the Minister of Ren believed that Kingdom agents had stolen classified weapon designs from the isolationist nation in 8540.
The primary battlefields took place in the Regalia Corridor and on the coastline of the Duchy of Reshensha. Many Kingdom vessels were sunk by the advanced firearm weaponry of Ren ships. Amidst the chaos that came from the initial years of the war, the Trelgani Faction seized control of the government. In 8545 the government reformed into the Treglani Bastion of Ren, now ruled by an Autarch.
The coastal Kingdom city of Dytestab was beseiged for the final three years of the war, which was ended when a battalion of Bulwark officers broke the enemy lines and destroyed the entire invading army and its forward operating bases. The decisive victory led to the Autarch of Ren, Phocas Trelganus, orderin an end to hostilities in 8547.
The war's name derives from the constant explosive barrage the Ren ships inflicted upon the coast of Reshensha, which led to tremors being felt miles inland over the extent of the war.
