Trapped Behind Enemy Lines

The squad of Harwick soldiers were inserted behind Fen lines to the former free town of Skipleley to set up a forward operating base via an unregistered teleportation circle. Things quickly went awry when Circlecrash occurred, destroying their only link back to the Free Cities. It is here that they engaged Fen Bishop Zolin in combat, later fleeing an object approaching from the sea. Their objective quickly became to survive at all costs and make for The Hammer.

A military operation was engaged to covertly access Fen territory via a previously-unknown unregistered teleportation circle with its ends located in Hi Ba and Skipleley. The Harwick Trade Company in conjunction with the Free City Council had planned an operation to send a small team through to Skipleley along with supplies to set up a forward operating base behind enemy lines. Then, they were to alter the Skipleley Circle to link to a Union of Free Cities military base to begin a full mobilization.   After being deployed from Hi Ba, the group of new Harwick soldiers on a recon mission were trapped in the town of Skipleley after the magical wave from the Circlecrash destroyed their only means of returning covertly to the Free Cities.   The soldiers engaged with Fen Bishop Zolin and his young Amethyst Dragon in the ruins of the town. Upon defeat, the Bishop was completely destroyed.   On the command of Col. Koloth via a recovered Sending Stone, the group made for the west to the Dwarven city of The Hammer for extraction.   On departure, a mysterious ship-like object emerged from the sea. The soldiers left in haste upon seeing it.
