Down on their luck and bumming it at the Skulking Lynx Inn on the remaining fortune of Halle Baudet after some wild New Years celebrating, the nameless group of adventurers were in danger of losing their lodging. The group consisting of Halle, Craig, Azna, and Amelia went out on their daily patrol looking for work to be done in the Duchy of Ulana's capital of Pekneth. While out, they came across a crier advertising work for a local wine magnate by the name of Regis out of Lost Wolverine Vineyard. Enthused by this, the group headed out immediately.

Upon arriving, the group was amazed at the size and complexity of the vineyard, also witnessing preparations for the vineyard to host this season's wrestling championship. There, the group met with Regis who told them of his troubles with Big Bottle Vineyard stealing his labor force. He gave them a job to venture down to the rival vineyard and aggressively encourage his workers to return to his vineyard.   The group accepted this job and ventured south to Big Bottle Vineyard.
