Criminal Activity

While attending the party at Vortex, the party fell under attack from unknown assailants. It was revealed that the attack was perpetrated by the Eladrin siblings Linthea, Henketha, Sundaria, and Trendek. They isolated various groups of guests and interrogated them in their own ways. Sundaria went after the Didacy agents and was defeated, killing himself to prevent interogation.

Henketha, interrogating the political leaders of the Consulate, was apprehended. During the skirmish, Deep Admiral Lorgon and Consul Reprentius Merchant were encountered by the group, being freed from Henketha's spell and being used as human shield respectively. Lorgon demanded Henketha's head, but was stopped by Dwaiyn.   Trendek was searching the suites on the lower levels when he apparently began losing control over his faculties. He was found by the party mumbling to himself obsessing over finding something. In his near catatonic state, the party toted him back to the main hall to use his sigil to unseal the door to where Linthea was keeping Consul Sailor and Warforged 2.   Linthea was quickly thrown off the balcony by Walker, but not before she secured both Trendek and Henketha through magical means and disappeared herself, followed by a creature made of bone.   The group of Didacy agents began to take stock of the situation. During the confusion of the attack, Consul Kralga Sailor was severely poisoned into a coma after a beast attacked her and Dwaiyn improperly treated her condition. Her confidant, Deedee Ramone, revealed to be Rhett Lorn, whisked her away after assisting the party in their request. On the balcony of the Grand Hall was the floating disassembled remains of Warforged 2, a hero of the Didacy and Consulate. His remains were suspended in a sphere of orange magic.
