A Bloody Diversion on the Road

The group investigated the abandoned Big Bottle Vineyard for a while longer, finding an illegitimate deed to the vineyard and some evidence that wine casks had been filled with Oblex ooze. On concluding that there were no survivors, they made their way back on the road to Regis. On the way there, they had a fateful encounter with Oswyn Godfrey Coronata.

Upon getting back on the road to, the group of began discussing their branding as a group. They decided to try out a name for themselves, landing on "The Opening Act" as a potential marketable title.   After discussing their new name, they encountered a man tending to one of the Lizardfolk they had met the day prior. The Lizardfolkd, Harkaj, was badly wounded with his brother Thurkear nowhere to be seen. The man tending to him identified himself as Oswyn Godfrey Coronata, a former local of Ulana. He told them that a dangerous individual he was hunting had assaulted the two Lizardfolk after Regis had assigned them to clear them out of an abandoned chateau on his property.   Oswyn requested their assistance in hunting the individual, whom he called Mattias Constantine. After conferring, the group agreed to offer their services under the name The Opening Act. Oswyn, delighted, set up a magical hut for Harkaj to recover in and the group made their way to the abandoned Chateau.
