The Bloodthirsty Blade

Koijea drew the black blade from its sheath, thrilling in the way it sang against the leather before he leveled it at the intruder. A wide grin spread across his lips, and he murmured, "Szion, krou." The blade's faint engravings began to glow a deep red, trailing and twisting up in intricate patterns from the tip until the light bled into the hilt, and Koijea closed his eyes, rolling his head slowly as though unconcerned with the danger before him. Through his palm he could feel the power of the soul within the long blade trembling, diving into the delicate system of silk-like threads that sprouted from his soul. He could feel himself being seized by Szion's soul, and soon he felt nothing at all. When he opened his eyes again, they were red, and Szion smiled with his lips.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The intricate engravings are specially made to guide and direct Szion's soul into Koijea's body, however, due to Szion's power, he is able to fully possess Koijea during Amelsari^✥

Amelsari is when a Zwen has been activated by their Muroti (their wielder), who channels the soul of the Zwen to work beside their own, heightening their abilities greatly and activating some special abilities. Full possession of a Muroti during Amelsari is exceedingly rare and considered dangerous. This state is known as Magazi.

. Szion is skilled with his own blade and has a deep red alma sjal^✥

Alma sjal is the color of one's soul. It's considered incredibly important in most Phantasmer cultures, whether in a positive or negative way.

. He is activated by Koijea commanding "krou", an Ancient Navitali word meaning "bloodbath". Once activated, his Enidia^✥

An Enidia is a mutation of one's soul ability; usually this is given by a stzozan (a god), but Zwen develop them when their souls are made into the weapon.

allows him to draw the blood from those his blade touches with extreme force. A small nick of the blade will become a large gash as blood attracts almost magnetically to the blade, causing rupturing veins and tearing muscles. Blood that soaks the blade energizes Szion further; Koijea has struggled to keep him under control in the past, and has caused mass slaughters due to Szion's thirst for killing.

A violent group which focuses on soul research and Enidia. They are known for conducting horrifying and illegal experiments. Dharriq is made up of people who believe that Enidia are a sign of tainted souls that must be cleansed and the world is slowly rotting away unless they do something about it.

Immortal beings chosen by one of the stzozan to do their bidding.

and was found out due to his knowledge of Zwen. He managed to grab Szion and escape. Koijea, frightened of Szion's power but knowing that Dharr Corp could not continue to have access to a Zwen, sheathed Szion and returned home.

Once Koijea attempted to perform his Shona, no other weapon would resonate with him. Theone explained that Szion had claimed Koijea as his, and no other Zwen would accept him because of it. Koijea trained with Szion until it became obvious that Szion was too powerful and uncontrolled for an Amelsari, and would only activate a Magazi. From there, Koijea was ordered not to activate Szion unless absolutely necessary and as long as there were no innocents that Szion might be a threat to. Koijea became known as the Bloodbath Prince because of Szion and his own recklessness with the Zwen, striking fear into anyone he was sent to fight alone. Only recently has Koijea been able to gain enough control of Szion so that he is able to regain control when he wishes.
