The Red Assassination
The Red Assassination marked the beginning of the Red Quake War. In a sign of peace, Kwento of the White Ram Clan came to Sikel City with overtures or reuniting the two cities under the leadership of the Council of Governers.
During the meeting, Kwento unsheathes the red-glowing Archsword of Amadioha and murders every member of the Council of Governors, along with their guard. While doing this, he has his men lay siege to Sikel City, declaring himself the new leader of both Sikel City and Demoush a Myel. And in doing so, fulfills his promise to reunite the four clans once more.
Surviving members of the other three clans, including the Leopard Clan, which is known for its fierce warriors, fight back against the invaders. They are only able to reclaim their city after three days and nights of battle -- when Kwento must finally sleep. When he loses hold of the sword at night, the other three clans are able to overcome their newfound enemies and barricade themselves into Sikel City, rallying their defenses to hold off Kwento's warriors.
A new Council of Governors was not formed after the assassination. However, the children of the three murdered clan members ran both the city and the battles. The Rooster Clan largely took over all diplomatic and governance tasks. While the Bat Clan and Leopard Clan combined their religious power and warrior techniques to launch an offense against Kwento in retaliation.
