Itemisation

Less a confirmed illness and more of a rumour that orginated in Swarii. The "Itemisation Phenomenon" started happening to employees of Echodrop working at their Guildhall, as the name suggests they started to turn into items. The story goes that first you lose feeling in your extremities, then you get more and more tired, finally one night you turn into a magic item. Various rumours exist as to what happens afterwards. The more positive ones suggest you gain the ability to shift at will like a natural lycanthrope, some say it's triggered by the darksun and happens at night, the darkest (and therefore the most pervasive) rumours suggest that once you turn, you are stuck like that and an Echodrop representative turns up at your house and takes you away.

Supposedly Itemisation is spread by Echodrop-produced magic items, that's why the employees are most susceptible to it.

Symptoms

It starts with numbness in the extremities, then fatigue and lethargy.
