The Myst

The Myst is a mostly transparent bluish gas. It acts, for the non-magical denizens of Physica as a barrier to extreme-range vision on the infinite plane. For those with knowledge of magic, however, the myst is something else entirely. It is a huge magical reaction in the atmosphere, a great process that turns the raw positive energy of the daylight into arcane power. It is the source of all magic.
