Xander Diogenes (a.k.a. Progeny)
Progeny is an extremely powerful and dangerous individual who can manipulate his own biology at will. He was created as part of an illegal superhuman research project that went south when he busted out and went on the run. He's recently crossed paths with the young vigilante group known as the Weekend Warriors and has made enemies of them all, but especially with one named Volt.

Early Life
Progeny was created as part of Project Vitruvius, an illegal research project with the goal of replicating the powers of a former supervillain of the same name. He spent most of his young life as a glorified lab rat, not even having a name of his own until later in life. While he was hardly the first superhuman created by Project Vitruvius, as he grew older, the researchers found that the power set he developed was the closest to Vitruvius's they'd ever achieved. However, at age eleven, Progeny escaped from the facility.Life and Crimes
Now calling himself Xander Diogenes, Progeny began life on the run. Having spent his entire life in captivity and forced to submit to the whims of others, he decided he was going to live the rest of his life doing whatever he wanted, whenever and wherever he wanted, with no one to tell him otherwise. Given that he was living on the streets, this mostly amounted to stealing, fighting, killing, and cannibalizing to survive. He left a trail of bloody violence behind him wherever he went, but was sneaky enough that no one could catch him or pin anything on him.Enemies
Unfortunately, Progeny's luck ran out when he was eighteen and he ran across a newly formed vigilante group known as the Weekend Warriors. One of their members in particular, a hero named Volt, was instrumental in taking him down. While Progeny ended up escaping, his defeat was nothing short of humiliating in his mind, and he swore vengeance on Volt and the rest of the Weekend Warriors.Gender Identity
