Her parents ran a florist shop and greenhouse that supplied some of the live flowers and plants required for the upkeep of the many decorative and vegetable gardens of Moonfall. She attended grammar school until 5329, where she scored marks at the top of her class while also maintaining a weekend gardener position with her family’s business. Upon graduation it was expected that Linnea would take up a gardener position with her family’s business but she was instead headhunted by the Lord Steward to take position as a procurer for plants for the palace garden, since a talented gardener would be needed to keep them alive during the long transit times in space. Linnea accepted this position and was assigned to the JNS Thoroughbred Mule.

Employment

The JNS Thoroughbred Mule was out of port during the Sundering. While it is reported most of the Mule’s crew abandoned the ship, Linnea did not. The Mule wandered through northern Maxdell and Southern Ranet for the better part of a year, making money smuggling, until they made contact with the greater Jenet fleet in Ranet space in late 5331. The Mule was seized in a military action by Maxell, but the crew was able to abscond, and they are now believed to be sheltering on the JNS Mistress of Guile.
