Moonfall-Class Frigate

The Moonfall-Class is a single custom Frigate operated by House Jenet. The Lord of Tides (destroyed 5330) was the only member of this class, previously the Tides had been a Ranet V-Class Frigate before being transferred to the Jenets and then refitted and customized into her Moonfall-Class outfitting.
All Fifth-Rate Ships of the line have an excellent reputation as a outstanding vessel for nearly any mission profile. The Moonfall-Class looked to build on the V-Class and draw improvements using premium components to maximize her strengths. The V-Class was considered very fast in line with older Ranet Doctrine with sacrifices to armor and armament to make keep weight low.
The Moonfall-Class was retrofitted with a reinforced frame, and then lightweight armor plating of varying thicknesses covering all sections. The Design incorporates two long Pendulum style habitats that fold into the sides of the hull during combat. The Forward section consists of a pair of prongs that meetup in the central section. All along these prongs lay the Broadside battery, where the prongs join is the forward chaser battery. At the mid section the primary ship systems are enclosed in durable armor, reactor, life support, lay in the center, with the outer pendulum habitats housing crew cabins and mess facilities. A closer counter rotating section houses officer quarters, the bride and primary medical facilities. At the rear of the vessel lay a heavily built up engines.
The Moonfall-Class is a 32-gun Frigate, the primary broadside battery is 20 guns split between the broadsides firing 24-pound shot, with another 4 Guns along each side firing 9-pound long guns. The forward chasers are 4 guns mounted at the mid section firing 36-pound long guns.
The Moonfall-Class is capable of berthing 360 Sailors, officers, and guests - though the Lord normally sailed with 280 sailors and 24 Officers.
Thanks to weight saving measures the Moonfall-Class maintains it's speed of 2.1G Acceleration with a 2.3G boost using internal heat-sinks which were common at the time of her design.
