De Zaanse Campagne - Session Report 02
General Summary
Pierre is aangenaam verrast de party weer te zien. Hij hoort hun verhalen over de Dreklet Queen aan en betaald ze voor hun bewezen diensten. Na wat rond te vragen in het dorpje komen ze erachter dat een oud omaatje al een paar weken niet meer gezien is en Priestess Lisanne maakt zich zorgen. Een kijkje in het oude hutje levert helaas niet veel antwoorden op, anders dan dat het omaatje dood is. Even later lichten ze Pierre in en hij beloofd er werk van te gaan maken. Als de party Lisanne spreekt over Gam Gam laten ze ook de Black Crystal Shard aan haar zien. Lisanne voelt dat de energie uit dit kristal niet goed is en anders is dan dat er normaal uit dit soort kristallen komen. Het kristal lijkt op de kristallen die normaal gesproken diep in de mijnen van de Utrimar Kingdom komen.

I have sent news to temple hall, but I have yet to hear from them.In The Inn of Ill Omen ontmoeten ze een Dwerg, Thatlech genaamd, hij heeft erg veel interesse in hun verhalen over het bos, de afgehakte handen en het vermoorde omaatje. Wantrouwend wat nou de intenties zijn van deze dwerg besluit de party om geen verdere informatie met hem te delen en vervolgen ze hun reis richting Helmaroc's Rest, de reis gaat niet zonder slag of stoot, en onderweg wordt de schuit aangevallen door een groepje Carrion Crawler. Een intens gevecht later, met wat kleerscheuren hier en daar, komt de party tegen de avond aan bij Helmaroc's Rest. Dorstig besluiten ze een goede kroeg op te zoeken en ze belanden in de Blue Pearls Oyster Bar.
A gruff dwarf with a cubic shape at the door says in a stern voice: "All patrons of the Blue Pearls Oyster Bar need to hand over their weapons at the cloakroom, house policy".Hier ontmoeten ze een ietwat viezige barman, genaamd Half-Mast Harry en na het opnemen van hun drankjes neemt hij eventjes de tijd om te praten.
Half-Mast Harry, when asked about the bards / half-elf girl in the back of the room: "Eris? That good for nuthin' girl, always troubles with coin you see. She owes me quite a bit of gold, had some trouble with one of the leaguemasters here and I bailed her out you see?" Or when asked about the richest man / important person in the bar: Oh that big fellow o'wer there? Well that's Tyberius. Ahhhh my dear old friend Tyberius, good man he is. I always make sure his favorite is free. He pulls quite a lot of wheight around here. That's his favorite booth over there, nobody else sits there really.
Not much trade going on these days, with The Free State of Dungol being closed to everybody but the Elves. That old bat, Danjel Jackson McNaird thinks its better to keep the borders closed to keep the riff-raff out. Yeah the Darkening is scary and we've lost contact with the other continents, but closing the borders won't fix that. I heard that leader from the Timberwolves went out of his way to go there and reason with the elves, even though, he ain't no elf. - Dirty Mike, telling things about the current things going on.
